If you are coming from Route 8, turn East on Route 910, which is toward Harmarville. You’ll travel about 4 miles, turn left on Oak Road (the Orange Belt) at Foley Jeep Chrysler Dealership. Go all the way to the stop sign, and you’ll go sort-of straight through onto Bairdford Road. Bairdford Road goes to the left and sort-of straight through, there is also a sharp right turn called Bryson at this intersection. You’ll only go about two blocks on Bairdford Road, you’ll turn right onto Maple Street, almost directly across from Dean’s 3Door Tavern and the Post Office. Go straight thru the stop sign and you will be able to see the pavilion from there.
If you are coming from Creighton, Millerstown, Saxonburg Blvd; Bairdford Road is the Orange Belt. The Orange belt comes from Sheetz in Creighton, through Russellton, past Deer Lakes schools (high and middle schools), then left on Saxonburg and right on Bairdford Road. On Bairdford Road, you’ll pass St.Victor’s church on the right, (where the festival is) and Edward’s Ice Cream on the left (the fireworks are in Edward’s back yard), then only about two tenths of a mile you’ll make a left on Maple Street across from Dean’s 3Door Tavern and the Post Office. Go straight thru the stop sign, and you can see the pavilion from there.
IF you’re coming from Route 28, you have two options. If you’re coming from Kittanning on Rt. 28, the shortest way is to get off at Millerstown (where Sunset Drive Inn used to be) and take 908 toward Tarentum/ away from Freeport. You’ll stay on 908, past Lojak cycle and Bull Creek road … bearing right at the first yield sign, then right again at the nearly immediate stop sign (about 15 minutes off of Rt. 28). Drive only about three car lengths, and the road makes a sharp left bend across a small cement bridge over rail road tracks to a 4-way stop sign. Turn Left onto Saxonburg Blvd at this stop sign and watch for the orange belt to turn left onto Bairdford Road. I believe there is only one stop sign (you’ll go straight thru) between the four-way stop and Bairdford Road. Turn right on Bairdford, pass St.Victor’s church on the right, (where the festival is) and Edward’s Ice Cream on the left (the fireworks are in Edward’s back yard), then only about two tenths of a mile you’ll make a left on Maple Street across from Dean’s 3Door Tavern and the Post Office. Go straight thru the stop sign, and you can see the pavilion from there.
If you’re coming from Rt 28 north from Pittsburgh, get off at Harmarville and take 910 West toward Wexford. You’ll go through a traffic light at the Industrial park, and straight through a traffic light at Saxonburg Blvd. From Sax Blvd, it’s about 3 miles to Foley Jeep Chrysler Dealership, turn right onto Oak Road (Orange Belt) at the dealership.
If you’re coming from out Wexford way or from Rt 79, take Rt 910 East toward Harmarville. From 79, you’ll cross under Rt 19, straight thru a stop sign at Babcock Blvd, straight thru traffic lights at Rt 8. |
