Lillie Lincoln
Lillie Kennedy, the woman some of us know as Mom, some of us know her as Grandma, and some of us know her as Great-Grandma, turned a fabulous 98 years old on November 28, 2005.

Born in 1907, she grew up in Springdale as a girl. Her father was superintendant of Springdale schools and her mother spent her life raising 8 children. Lillie was the oldest girl, followed by Jannie and Marion. Her oldest brother was Raymond, then Pete, a sibling who died shortly after birth, and Bud was the baby of the boys. Lillie was a part of tWO high school classes - Springdale did not offer grades past 9th, so for senior high school, those who wanted to continue went on to Ken High in New Kensington. There, Lillie was a star forward on the girls' basketball team. While cheering for her team before a game one night, a young stallion from Dunbar(near Uniontown) caught her eye. From there, the Lincoln Family was "born".

Charles "Abe" Lincoln
Charles was born in 1903 in Dunbar, but his family moved to Springdale, which is where he met Lillie. Shortly after they were married, he owned and ran a BBQ stand in Tarentum, which didn't really fit into the "family schedule", so he shut that down and got a job at West Penn Power, from which he eventually retired.

After empty nest and retirement, Lillie and Charles moved to Widnoon, where Charled passed away in 1980. Lillile currently resides in Sarver with her daughter Honey, who kindly opens her home to the family to come visit. He worked for West Penn Power for awhile - He and Jim decided to go out west on a trip to "see the world". Upon their return,
